Ths short reflection on Coptic music was written in English by the late Deacon Nabih Fanous (1946–2021), lecturer in Liturgy and Liturgical Chant at Pope Shenouda III Theological College (Sydney, Australia; now known as St Cyril’s Theological College). It was included in PDF entitled Coptic Music: Selected Writings, released in 2006 by the Coptic Orthodox Electronic Publishing Australia (COePA).
